It is May 2025 and I have entirely failed to write a report of the third Guinness World Record that my daughter and I achieved, way back on 14th October 2023.
We set a new GWR for “Fastest 1km pushing a pram (female)” in 3mins 35.14 seconds on the athletics track at my home club in Blagnac. Looking back, I am not quite sure how I managed that – I couldn’t run anywhere near that time today without a buggy, let alone pushing 30++kgs!
Some of these running adventures we have had seem absolutely bonkers in hindsight (and no doubt appeared that way at the time to my friends and family!), but I will always be grateful for these unforgettable experiences and I will never regret pushing myself outside my comfort zone.
